I am Leta.
I am a director and producer living and working in New York City.
As a director, I specialize in stylized movement with bold, simple visual and auditory elements. Recent NYC directing credits include: Horny Orderly, A Symphony of Sex and Sorrow (Galapagos Art Space), Cause of Failure (The Kraine Theater), The Foreplay Play (Caps Lock Theatre), The Worst Play Ever About Sex and Love, And the Title I Needed to Get Me To Write This, A Choreo-Play (Galapagos Art Space), OTHELLO (The Secret Theatre), Snow White Zombie (2010 EstroGenius Festival), Hangman School for Girls (Manhattan Theatre Source), and Fore-Shadow-Play (FOREPLAYS).
As a producer, I have successfully mounted FullStop Collective's Outfoxed at Access Theater, FOREPLAYS 2011 and FOREPLAYS 2012: FULL FERVOR at Galapagos Art Space, Unville Brazil at The Drilling Company Theatre, and HAMLETTES at FringeNYC 2010. I co-produced Ampersand: A Romeo & Juliet Story with Purple Rep at FringeNYC 2011.
As a stage manager, I have worked with HERE Arts Center, The Cherry Lane Theatre, The Chocolate Factory, NAATCO, ExPgirl, and Artistic New Directions to name a few.
I am a graduate of Smith College and the Eugene O’Neill National Theatre Institute where I trained with the Wooster Group and SITI Company.
I am a founding member and Producing Director of FullStop Collective.
