Based on the true story of a family of seven dwarves who survived the holocaust, ZWERGE incorporates live actors and puppetry to explore life before, in and after Auschwitz. A two-time recipient of Jim Henson Foundation Grants, co-creators Deborah Hertzberg & Jean Marie Keevins developed the piece in part at the National Puppetry Conference at The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.
